Re: Norton vs. alternatives
I use the free version of AVG. I haven't had any problems with it.

Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10
My life was so easy when I thought I couldn't go to my sister's baptism. Now I have to decide if going is important enough to spend $300 for a Saturday at home.

I don't know that I figured it out. I just chose what looked best and hoped I was right.Digit wrote:Can you figure out the rule/pattern for the last progressive matrix on this test? I cannot and am very curious what it is.Unit of Energy wrote:I'm incredibly bored right now.

Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10
I got to Provo! And my apartment was GROSS when I moved in. A couple of hours of cleaning later, and it's habitable. If you need any help, I'm incredibly bored right now. Today I have watched half a season of White Collar, Run the data for two projects at work, offered my services to three friends ...

Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10
I hate doing laundry so much. I pretty much wait until I absolutely have to, which is about every month or so. I have enough clothing that I can get away with it.

My mom was 45 when my youngest sister was born. She was 28 when I was born. I think she's 52 now.

Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10
Ooh, can I claim that?
I had a friend who used to tell me that I was easy to confuse, but it was only fun on days that ended in 'y'. It took me three hours to figure that one out. I was also extremely tired that night.

Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10
I am grateful for my roommates, after the crazy year I had dealing with roommates that didn't respect my opinion. But is it too much to ask that I get to use my tv, my xbox, and my cable/internet when I get home from work? I don't say anything, but I pay all the bills for it, and she hasn't paid her...

Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10
Despite having a stressful day, I have found that I'm remarkably happy today.
Also, for all of you just getting back to Provo who haven't had a chance to go to the store yet, I have leftover pizza. For some reason I decided to make 8 pizzas for 6 people. And now I have about 6 pizzas in my fridge.

Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10
I probably would go with a card as well. I'm assuming you are in a singles ward, so there are probably two different wards as well as other social/familial groups helping the family. I'd send a card, and be ready to offer any other assistance that was needed.

My specialty salad: romaine lettuce with tomatoes, red onions, medium cheddar cheese, avocado and poppy seed dressing. I was out of bacon pieces otherwise those would have gone in too.

Re: Sudbury Schools
I think that most kids want to be well learned. Maybe that's just me though. Peer pressure would likely be enough to get the lagging children to invest time in something, and mixing ages could help too, since I don't know of many children that don't want to do the things their older peers are doing....

Re: Sudbury Schools
I was home schooled. We had more structure than do whatever you want, but it was very much focused on what each of my siblings and I needed/wanted to focus on. I think the lowest any of my siblings has scored on a standardized test was 80th percentile. One sister was convinced she failed the ACT. Sh...

Re: Sudbury Schools
I actually think that children are more likely to learn what they need to learn when they want to learn it. I hate math, because the way it is taught doesn't give it any use. Why on earth do I care about when two trains in an imaginary world will meet? However give me a problem that doesn't seem to ...

Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10
I want a new computer. I don't need one though, I just want one. I'll probably not get one until I need to, I'll just buy a TV and pay off my loans in the meantime.
