Re: Park City
I love Park City! You'll definitely want to (window) shop along Main Street: Dolly's Bookstore is great. If you want to splurge on one treat, everyone enjoys Java Cow ice cream (there's an attached coffee shop, hence the name). Food is expensive, so bring groceries if you don't want to eat out. I l...

Park City
I'm taking myself on a mini vacation to Park City next week. I've never been before, so I'm looking for affordable (preferably free) suggestions of things to do. I'll be there from Wednesday afternoon to Friday morning, and I'll be up there by myself.

So, my dad says you can get donations, or apparently you can roll over some of the money if the bishop and stake president agree to it.

I've been saying I'm the same weight for the last three years (mostly while giving blood) despite the fact that I hadn't stepped on a scale in that amount of time. I finally went to a doctor's appointment today, and I was only a pound off.

Maybe it's that sometimes certain threads/topics turn into echo chambers. It's probably unintentional, but it means that any mainstreams who would like to chime in feel uncomfortable doing so.

Yeah, I have to dry it after a shower or it comes out funny. Reading on my kindle makes my life easier and more entertaining.mic0 wrote:Much less exciting than I was imagining. Drying my hair is so time and labor intensive I usually just don't bother. Reading would make it slightly more interesting.

Oh, I just prop my kindle up on the shelf just below my mirror and glance at it occasionallymic0 wrote:Tally M: How in the world do you read while drying your hair?? That seems like it would require acrobatics. Also that is an interesting reason to generally not read in the morning.

Re: During what time of the day do you read for fun?
At night, though lately I've been reading on my kindle as I dry my hair and stuff in the morning. I think it's because I worry that it'll eat up too much of my time, and it's easier to put a book down to sleep than to do things I have to do.

Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10
So, I have this add-on for Chrome that changes Millennial (usually referring to the generation) to Snake People. I forgot that I did that, and I've been copying texts off of Project Gutenberg for work. And just found a reference to "Snake Person Stars" (instead of Millennial Stars) in the ...

Our grandparents gave us a subscription for a couple of years, and we did the same thing--they were the only ones we had to cut pictures out of.Shrinky Dink wrote:Does it count if we had a pile until I was about 15? I think we kept them around for school projects.

Re: Rant of the Day
Roommate that just moved out just got engaged to best friend of four years (they've been more or less dating for four or five months, officially for a week and a half) two days after I got rejected by my best friend of two years. To say it stings a little is a bit of an understatement. And now they...

I like the bit about it not being long. My dad's favorite quote of Packer's is that it takes a good meeting to be better than no meeting at all.
