I gather that this was not your ordinary temper tantrum. Sounds like the teacher did the right thing by calling the cops, even if it sounds absurd. If you can't pop the kid one, the next best thing is to cuff 'em, Dan-o.

Castle in the Sky was my first Hayao Miyazaki film. My roommate suggested that it would be more accessible to an American viewer, but I actually didn't like it that much. I found Spirited Away to be much more engaging and vibrant.

My interest in FBOFW has actually waned. It used to be a comic, but now it's a qusi-soap opera strip. It's part Baby Blues, part Mary Worth. But I've always respected the strip because it faithfully kept an accurate timeline, something almost unheard of in the comics. But now that it's going to free...
