So I'm the one who asked about the Choose Your Own Adventure. I don't actually need the picture of Yggdrasil, I just really enjoyed that particular book. I'd really like to read it again and that's the only clue I have as to its identity. I guessed #55 The Trumpet of Terror since it deals with Norse mythology, but I'm not sure I've got it right. I don't want to buy The Trumpet of Terror on Amazon only to find out it's the wrong one. So if anyone knows which Choose Your Own Adventure I'm looking for, please respond!
I've already checked the HBLL and the Provo library and neither of them carry #55 The Trumpet of Terror and it's not listed on the Orem Library's public catalog. If Miss Scarlett in the Conservatory shows up, can you tell me anywhere you might've looked?
Thanks!

Ah, now your question makes more sense. Well, I looked inside each of the Choose Your Own Adventure books at the HBLL, but none of them had the drawing. I haven't checked the illustrations of the ones at the Provo library, but I do have a suggestion: if you're a BYU student you could just request it through Interlibrary Loan, and it wouldn't cost you a cent to see if that is the right book. It would probably be pretty quick, since it looks like the Salt Lake City public library has a copy. I did some searches to see if anyone else mentioned the drawing in connection with the book, but nothing came up. Finding a copy of this particular book is your best bet. Hey, let me know if you find out, it about drove me crazy not being able to find it!
Well, I tried ILLIAD and after a month and a half, they sent me an email indicating that they'd exhausted all their resources and couldn't find a copy of the book. So I bit the bullet and bought it on Amazon for $0.01 (plus S+H). It arrived a few days ago. It did have a picture of Yggdrasil in the front, but it wasn't the one I remembered. And neither was the plot (if you can even use that term to describe a Choose Your Own Adventure). Now I'm starting to suspect that I've confounded The Trumpet of Terror with some other book, not a Choose Your Own Adventure, which also involved Norse mythology and also had an illustration of Yggdrasil in the first few pages. Anyway, thanks for your help!
