Snow????

Post by bobtheenchantedone »

Yeah, Utah, this is why I want to go back to Florida. Are you kidding me? Snow? And a couple of inches of it? Come on! You did this last year and it wasn't funny then either.

Bleh.

Oh, complain complain complain, you should.

We got 10 inches this past week. It had all finally melted off the front lawn the day before, too!

Anyway, yeah. This is Utah. I hope it just doesn't skip spring this year.

It better not. I am very looking forward to taking kids (and cats!) to the park!

Also, Farmers Market starts only next month, and I don't want to be sitting in the cold.

Seriously. SOME of us have planting to do! This weather doesn't seem to realize that late snows delay all of my summer bloomage.

This is why my tomato and basil seedlings are growing in my bedroom right now. No delay here!

I left Wisconsin's 70 degrees and sunny weather to go to Utah's 40 degrees and snowy weather for my spring break. Typical.

That's a cool idea! I'll have to keep that in mind for a bathroom that has room for it...

Bahaha! I find it very entertaining that my high school science teacher shares a name with a plant dubbed 'dumb cane'...

My day is made.

Somewhat more on-topic, one of the most amazing bathrooms I have ever seen had a rock-hewn bath/shower and what I assumed were bamboo shoots and other plants in well-placed nooks. When referencing the upkeep, the owner claimed they were in there daily anyway, they might as well have something other than themselves to spruce up.

Plants in bathrooms = awesome.

Weather warm enough for me to send all of my siblings outside for half the day = even more awesome.

Please, Mother Nature, if it's going to snow again, wait until after Spring Break is over!
