none of my beeswax

Post by C is for »

So, I have a burning question that I can't ask the Board for fear of ridicule.

Ridicule here, somehow, isn't quite so bad.

Anyway, I don't know if anyone will actually be able to answer this. But, I am in the midst of the 2006 archives and must know:

Did Petra and Optimistic. actually date or were they friends? or cousins??

I'll probably happen upon the answer in the archives one of these days. But I don't read the archives very often anymore so I don't know if I'll ever find out.

anyone know and care to share? I figure that now that they're both happily married to someone else it doesn't really matter.

still, I know, none of my beeswax.

I met them while they were dating. Then I beat Optimistic. in scrabble with the word "thorax."

I wish people would play Scrabble with me. But they don't.

Anywho. Optimistic.'s blog is really entertaining.

Cue mental impressions of vast amounts of bodily harm being done by small lettered squares...

Thanks, guys! I especially appreciate that you didn't just link me to the famous question and leave it there. :) You're awesome.

Ha no.

Actually, I thought about going to Utah to meet you all, but I'm not out of school until long after all y'all, so... yeah. That kind of fell out the window. And I'm going out of town enough between now and June 9 that I don't really need another getaway.

But if anyone wants to come to my mission farewell, by all means, message me and I'll give you info. Assuming you're actually coming, that is. I'm not just going to give out the general vicinity of my house willy nilly.

Although if you want to come down on May 22 (I think. It might be the 21st), you can see the choir I sing in. This quarter, we have William Joseph (who is a marginally famous piano player) as our guest artist. And the music is all really good.

So if you're looking for like a week-and-a-day long getaway to Arizona at the end of May, let me know and I'll plan it for you.

Ha.

But really.

It should be noted, though, that they weren't actually dating at the time of the "paparazzi" pictures. They started dating later.
