Bob had quoted Gimgimno and his 3/4 6/8 comment on Facebook, which I saw before I read the Board (because I'm a sinner like that) so I immediately thought of something only marginally related.
I'm likely not the only one who's taken Music 201. The professor told us a story that had a bit to do with Fair Phyllis. It changes to triple time when the couple "fell a-kissing" and he told us why it may have changed time signatures just there.
He told us of his eurhythmics professor, who saw rhythm in everything I guess. One time he was kissing his wife and noticed that he was kissing in triple time. I guess he came all excited to class the next morning and told them about it.
It was almost, almost our homework for Music 201 that night to kiss and see if it happened in triple time.
So, that was my train of thought. Life happens in triple time, especially love. And ... bad things?

Triple time? I always kiss in 5/4.
