Re: Alias Record--60347
Hmm...do people want to guess who asked what now or after all the questions have posted?

It'll probably be easier to keep track of after they've all posted.

Re: Alias Record--60347
Especially since they're already posting. Which means they should (theoretically) all be posted by end of tomorrow.

I'll preemptively name "underwear head" the return 'nym used during these shenanigans.
Also, did and Sauron retire and i just not notice or is he on hiatus during what is undoubtedly a difficult exam season?

I'm not sure about most of them, but I'll pick this one before someone else takes it: #20 (oh what do you do in the wintertime) was the Black Sheep.
At least, I'm pretty sure it is.

Re: Alias Record--60347
I just figured you had a bunch of underlying assumptions that I wasn't smart enough to infer. Glad to know I didn't understand it because of your lack of sleep, not my lack of intelligence.krebscout wrote:Wait, what happened? I'm pretty darn sure that Katya asked #14 (why did it have to be worms?)--and call it a hunch, but NerdGirl probably asked #18 (favorite talks).

To give some form to the game, we can do one of two things.Dead Cat wrote:If anyone accuses you, let your answer be yea, yea or nay, nay.Katya wrote:Am I supposed to tell you if you're right or wait for others to guess, first?Dead Cat wrote:I'm pretty darn sure that Katya asked #14 (why did it have to be worms?).
Give everyone a deadline to submit guesses by OR do three strikes and you're out. Person who gets the most before getting three strikes wins.
Re: Alias Record--60347
I believe wired is correct in suggesting such an action. Therefore, here are the rules:
For the next four days, we shall vote on who submitted what for a group of six questions (ie., tomorrow's questions are #1-6, Wednesday questions are #7-12, etc.). The first one to get a guess correct gets a point. Any previous correct guesses up until 12:01 am, Tuesday November 16 will count towards whoever guessed them first (so #20 already goes to Indefinite Integral). If you want to get in a few more guesses before then, you are free to, but starting tomorrow, only guess on the group of questions for the day.
People will reveal what question(s) they asked under two circumstances:
A) someone guesses right (guesser gets the point)
B) the day has completed without anyone guessing a question of the day correct (in this case, the asker gets the point)
If you guess multiple aliases for a given question, you must do so in separate posts with enough time for someone else to guess in between. Beware, though, because the point value will decrease as you increase guesses on a question (ie. 2 guesses yields 1/2 point, 3 guesses yields 1/3 point, etc.).
And, of course, whoever gets the most points wins.
If any of the above is unclear or if you have additional rules to add, do not hesitate to talk to me.

2. Favorites Questions http://theboard.byu.edu/questions/60568/
3. Home-made Christmas Gifts http://theboard.byu.edu/questions/60569/

6. Vocal Range http://theboard.byu.edu/questions/60576/
My guesses:
1. I would guess me, but I know it wasn't and guessing oneself is prohibited. So I'll say...NerdGirl.
2. Hmm... ahem.?
3. I'm guessing NerdGirl again
4. Humble Master
5. I don't know if everyone who was Record Breaker admitted it here, so I'll say someone who didn't asked this one.
6. Ditto above
Side note: combine 1 and 6 and you have me saying that my secret ambition is to be able to sing bass. My actual range is about Paperback Writer's (I know, nothing to sneeze at, but basses tend to sound cool while sopranos tend to sound screechy).

No one else is interested in playing? If you aren't, just say so. In related news, I am responsible for #'s 4 and 6. And since that makes me ahead, I'm either waiting for someone else to start playing or for someone to voice their opinions about it ending.
