Aspen Grove?

Post by Craig Jessop »

Do any of you have experience working at Aspen Grove? I was offered a job there and have a few questions.

I got a free t-shirt from Aspen Grove once. I can't say anything else about it, just that I still wear it anytime I decide to paint and don't want to get my good shirts dirty.

Could you? He knows who I am. He once kidnapped me.

[Weird useless story]

Freshman year, my roommate and two of our friends applied to work at Aspen Grove the following summer. The two friends were accepted, but my roommate was not and was a teensy bit bitter about it. Apparently there was some sort of VHS (!) introduction/training/indoctrination video for new employees, and since we were one of the few people they knew with a working TV and VCR, they kind of invited themselves over to watch it and be excited about their new job. Right in front of my roommate without being at all discrete or even asking permission, for that matter.

Craig, I asked him about it and he was like "from the Mormon Tabernacle choir?"

So if you could pm me your e-mail address, or find him yourself.

I'm disturbed that you've got Stockholm Syndrome to the point that you're eager to get in touch with your former kidnapper . . .

I was just saying you are too prolific for Hobbes to have no idea who you are. Of course, I've actually met you and I can't remember your real name, so I guess that puts me up for FAIL too.

And we have to take into account that Hobbes has kidnapped many, many, many individuals. Using that as the benchmark may be akin to stating "Don't you remember me? I was in the American Heritage class after you."

He who knows himself has discernment.
He who overcomes others has force;
He who overcomes himself is strong. 33:1-4
