Re: Encore - Months
"There's gunna be fireworks (fireworks) on the fourth of July (red, white, and blue) / Red, white, and blue fireworks, and here's the reason why..."
Schoolhouse Rock, um... "Fireworks"?
"And a song someone sings once upon a December."
Anastasia, "Once Upon a December"

The Epistler was quite honestly knocked on her ethereal behind by the sheer logic of this.
Re: Encore - Months
...I didn't think the lyrics were "and here's the reason why" but it really doesn't matter. I mean, maybe I'm remembering a different part of the song.

Re: Encore - Months
I don't think I'm going to last long in this round, so I'll only do one a day.

"Although for such a beastly month as February, twenty-eight days as a rule are plenty"
-- Pirates of Penzance, "A Paradox"
I know I used this in the numbers round too, but it's the only one I can think of right now.

I vaguely remembered this, but it's in a weird part of the song, so I couldn't quite remember the words. But I knew you'd come through.Cindy wrote:"Although for such a beastly month as February, twenty-eight days as a rule are plenty"

Re: Encore - Months
I am pretty sure the words are not "and here's the reason why" so I have no clue why I put them up. I have plenty of words anyway.C is for wrote:...I didn't think the lyrics were "and here's the reason why" but it really doesn't matter. I mean, maybe I'm remembering a different part of the song.

"But February made me shiver, with every paper I'd deliver"
Don Mclean, "American Pie"
By the way, I'm the slightest bit annoyed that this wasn't done in a new topic. I almost didn't realize it was here.

Re: Encore - Months
Okay, it is Day 2! I wasn't clear about when the first day would end, so if anyone wants to submit two entries and slide in, they are welcome.
Day 1 Participants:
Defy V
Katya
C4
Bob
Cindy
Marduk
Dead Cat
Tao
And Marduk, unless you were only looking at the Poll part of the title, I hoped that no one would be able to tell the difference between the original topic relabeled "Encore -Months" and a new topic with the same title. Sorry I was wrong.

"O where are the young men, that now do advance / For summer is a-comin' today / O some they are in England, and some they are in France / In the merry morning of May."
