Nice table in that article. So a "simple" invention like a new type of paperclip is estimated to be $5-7K in attorneys fees. Sheesh!

I just watched Aristocats so when I saw "Marinated" I immediately thought of the following dialogue:
"And basted in white wine."
"Basted? He was marinated."
"And basted in white wine."
"Basted? He was marinated."

I would personally use this as an excuse to eat as much ambrosia salad as I possibly, possibly could. Hey, it's got fruit in it, right? It's healthy.

Pretty sure. The texture makes me gag. The only fruits I like are apples, grapes (if they're cold and crunchy), and fresh pineapple with no weird juice (also must be very cold). Otherwise....gross...

Bob's sister is the exact same way, Imogen.

Interesting. 13-year-old Abbey Watson already has eight world records in weightlifting, but doesn't really look muscular at all. She just looks to me like a normal kid. I know that by their differences in training, powerlifters can actually be stronger than bodybuilders even though their muscles aren't as bulbous, but this girl really hides it.

I just read this Board question (http://theboard.byu.edu/questions/34040/) and apparently March 14th (3.14?!??!) is "International Ask a Question Day." I'll be sure to remind everyone when the time gets closer.

My dad's been an expert witness in some patent infringement cases lately (is that what it's called? My brain doesn't work today). It's ridiculous, he says, but he makes excellent money.Digit wrote:Marinated..haPatent Attorney Gene Quinn wrote:In my experience many, if not most or even nearly all, inventors know deep down that the patent application process is a complex process. I thought I was saying that when I accidentally just replied to the patent thing. Go figure.Craig Jessop wrote:Why not both?Fredjikrang wrote:Hmm. I always celebrated Pi day that day. . .
In other news, I'm proud to have been part of the audience in the Logan Institute's first-ever fire. The kitchen burned down. Needless to say, I got like no work done this morning. But I was luckily able to rescue my i>clicker before class.

It could be "Ask a Question About Pi(e) Day."

Or "Ask a Question While Eating Pi(e) Day"
Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10
I love all of these suggestions!
