You should start organizing groups of people for harmless pranks a la Improv Everywhere.

Also, you can learn to toss cards into a hat.

Get a girlfriend. It's an expensive hobby, but a fun one.

I was focusing more on the no computer side of things with my suggestion. Painting is an expensive initial cost. You can keep cost down by using canvas boards instead of canvases, buying only the most basic primary colors (although you'll probably want to buy white, black, and brown as well), and just one or two standard size brushes. No matter how you go about it, though, you will find the cost much higher than most of the other hobbies recommended here. Look for an art sale, though--often you can find paints and supplies at 50%-75% off, depending on the surplus. That's how I got started.

I once saw part of a documentary about Jackson Pollock and it looked like he was flicking paint from cans of everyday house paint when he was making his multi-million dollar spatter works.

I know I'm a little late here, but I get almost all of my basket weaving supplies at basketweaving.com. (Who knew?) I have yet to be able to find supplies locally, unless you consider a 2-hour drive to Amish Country as local. I love basket weaving, it's so much fun. :) I would totally give you (or any of you) a free lesson except you would have to come to Jersey. Or I might be visiting Utah some time in December...
