I hate those times when my baby does everything in his power to prevent me from shaving my legs. I was victorious today, but sometimes I am not.

I think he'll marry a European woman.

So I was getting kind of annoyed with a couple different friends for not responding to my texts this week. I had asked a couple questions, that while not really important I wanted to know the answer. I went to text one of them again tonight and discovered that I had never sent the text I was annoyed with him not answering. The same with the other friend.

I'm confused. Is this a third guy or is this one of the original two?
This is the older one whom I started dating around pioneer day. Not a new guy.

Supervisor: "Can you have a rough draft of your project report for tomorrow?"
Me: "Yeah, sure."

I'm beginning to feel like I'm going to die single. I do not care for this feeling.

No, don't do that! Because if you start a club, chances are people will find other similarities and pair up, and YOU WILL STILL BE ALONE.

I had a 12 hour day at work, too! Except mine was interpreting. And there were lots of free meals at places like expensive Italian food and awesome shrimp tacos.

Breathe barn dust in the morning = probably cough up my lungs all day. Dangit.

Edit: Thankfully, I appear to be wrong!

It turns out that the latest internet celebrity is Iranian-American (NASA's "mohawk guy"), and I'm having fun watching the Iranian community on Twitter geek out. And I thought of you, Imogen, because I don't actually know that many people of Iranian descent. (Alas, he's got a girlfriend, which doesn't make this information terribly useful, given the current conversation. But I thought I'd throw it out there, anyway.)

Lucky. I did get a free lunch, but it was from the sandwich place across the street. Lunch for all six of us was $23. I know because I was sent to buy it.

I do love my job, just some days it is really long.

I learned the other day that my right foot is a half a size bigger than my left. No wonder all of my church shoes hurt my right foot so much while still slipping off my left. But what do I do? I really don't want to buy two pairs of shoes just to get one that fits.

I think you should buy the bigger size that fits your right. Then maybe you can use heel grips or stuff cotton balls into the toe of your left shoes. Obviously this only works for shoes with toes/heels. I don't know what I would do about sandals and the like.

Some sandals have adjustable straps and you could tighten them a bit for the smaller foot. Also, if you got slingback shoes you might be able to take the back of the shoe in somehow.

What style of shoes do you usually wear to church, DL?

His last name is the name of a famous Iranian poet, so i knew he was Iranian as soon as I saw his last name.

Also, go my people!

Also, I'm sad my future husband is dating someone else....sigh.
