I suppose that's the downside of living in a college town. :(

My old friends, lovers, and flames start to get all sorts of entanglements whenever I move back to Utah. I may have retired from the Board yet it (and BYU in general) haunts me still! I mean, seriously, does one accept a LinkedIn request from a former NCMO? I'm at sea.

On my wife's official diploma, she had them print her middle name as Mawihemimel. It's a nickname I gave her when we were dating. It stands for: Most Amazing Woman I Have Ever Met In My Entire Life. Awww.

Interesting. This site claims only two people in the nation have that name, one in Nevada and one in Indiana.

My first name is shared by a little less than 4000 people, mostly in Wasington, Oregon, and Iowa.

Well, she is one of them, but to protect her privacy I won't say which.

Sometimes I have to google pictures of giraffes and puppies at lunch so I can make it through the day.

Funny, Utah has the most people per capita named Dallin. Go figure.

Also, Hulu just showed an "I'm a Mormon" ad. The Church is so cool.

So, now that I'm in a swing state there are always political ads on Hulu. And sometimes there will be a political ad and then the next ad is an "I'm a Mormon" ad, but at the beginning of the ad it seems very similar to the political ones where people are like "I'm a normal person with needs and opinions and will be voting for X." It's very confusing! :)

I was hanging out with El Córazon Sólo (his questions should post in a day or two), and the following conversation ensued after I kept talking while he was trying to study:
"Do you need attention right now, [Zed]?"
"...maybe..."
hahaha
