Nasty Habits
Nasty Habits
So I'm curious to know what everyone's guilty pleasures are here. What are the things you like that perhaps you ought not to?
I'll confess mine: Bread. I love the lead singer's voice, I love their cheesy lyrics, I love the gentle melodies. I know I ought not to; he is corny and tacky and all those other things. But when I hear Aubrey or Guitar Man, all is right with the world.
How about you guys?

Re: Nasty Habits
Probably America's Next Top Model.
The Epistler was quite honestly knocked on her ethereal behind by the sheer logic of this.
Re: Nasty Habits
Grey's Anatomy.
Re: Nasty Habits
Picking my nose and eating the boogers. I happen to like the taste and it's more hygienic than wiping it on the sofa or chair like I've seen other people do.
Re: Nasty Habits
Snacking. I make very healthy, tasty, satisfying meals three times a day, but every afternoon for some reason I eat about half a day's calories worth of junk, except that I don't buy junk for that specific reason, so I end up getting desperate and eating chocolate chips straight out of the bag or something. I could probably lose about 15 pounds if I could just stop.

Re: Nasty Habits
Oooh, I ditto krebscout with the eating. In general, I eat very healthy meals and snacks, but every day in the late afternoon and again a few hours after dinner, I get the munchies for something sweet and I pound down Good 'n Plentys till I feel sick. I can't help it, that stuff is like crack.
Also, WinCo sells it in bulk. So... it's kind of hard to say no.

Yarjka wins for nastiest, but Zedability wins for most embarassing.

Re: Nasty Habits
Gio, you've not shared yours. You have no right to be posting here until you do.

1. I agree with Marduk - Gio, you gotta share some "nasty" habits before posting!
2. I don't really consider my own habits nasty (well, except picking on acne and also picking on my lip... okay, that's quite nasty), but along the Glee lines, I watch Pretty Little Liars. And I watched all of Desperate Housewives (actually a great show!) and quite a few seasons of America's Next Top Model (but not this current season because it doesn't look very fun).

Same here. Actually, I've probably seen all the past seasons.mic0 wrote:... and quite a few seasons of America's Next Top Model (but not this current season because it doesn't look very fun).

Re: Nasty Habits
This current season is kinda lame, but I can't stop watching anyway! And I really liked last season.

picking on acne is hard to break
Re: Nasty Habits
Let it be known that I've never picked on acne. That's just gross.Whistler wrote:picking on acne is hard to break

Hey now. There's no judging here. This is a friendly zone where everyone can tell me their dirty little secrets.Yarjka wrote: That's just gross.

Meant as a joke, of course. As the winner of the nastiest award, I have no ground to stand on.mic0 wrote:Yarjka, I took you comment as a joke.Marduk wrote:Hey now. There's no judging here. This is a friendly zone where everyone can tell me their dirty little secrets.Yarjka wrote: That's just gross.

Re: Nasty Habits
I'm trying to think if I have any interesting and unusual nasty habits. I pick my nose, but not in public. I pick my zits. I pee in the shower (I live alone, don't worry, and I clean it if someone is coming to stay with me). If there's dirt under my nails, I'll sometimes dig it out with the tip of a mechanical pencil that has the lead retracted, then I push the lead back out and it pushes out a nice little lead-shaped piece of fingernail dirt.
