EFY stalkers #70199

I'll admit it, I wanted to do something like this (except replace EFY with band camp). It wasn't nearly as difficult, as we both ended up at BYU. I bumped into her on campus and had a really awesome conversation that went something like this:

Girl: "Hey is that you Talons?"
Me: (Very taken aback that she was there and remembered me) "What!?"
Girl: "It's (girl) from band camp, you probably don't remember me."
Me: (Trying to cover up my shock) "Oh yeah, I remember you."
Girl: "Well, I have to get to class, maybe I'll see you around."

After that, I asked her on a date by writing to her discontinued email account. When I got the standard "Address not valid" reply, I decided to FB friend her. That was the last contact we ever had.

Anyone else have funny experiences with this?

There was a girl in one of my classes in high school that I really liked, but never said anything to because I was too shy. One day a couple of years ago, I got a friend request on Facebook from her. I decided I may as well start up a conversation, so I sent her a short message. She sent me one back that basically said she had a huge crush on me in high school but was too shy to ever tell me. I responded that I had a huge crush on her too, but also never said anything. Then we both said basically, well, that's too bad. We're both married to different people, life moves on, too bad we were so shy, who knows what could have been?

We haven't spoken since.
