I don't really care where anyone sleeps as long as there's a pool. If there's no pool, I'm going home.

Right? Or a hot tub. What's the point of staying in a hotel without one of those?

Oooh! Pool. I need to be sure we fork over enough money for a hotel with a pool and hot tub. Good call!
And the married people are mostly going to Disneyland because I get a discount, so I'll be there, Redhead lives less than 3 hours away and gets a discount, so she and her new baby will be there, and other friends all want to meet new baby. It's the first baby in our friend group.
So this is mostly reunion plus chance to visit a fun theme park.

It doesn't matter what happened to get you to today, beyond shaping your understanding. What really matters is where you go from here.
