I don't really care where anyone sleeps as long as there's a pool. If there's no pool, I'm going home.

Right? Or a hot tub. What's the point of staying in a hotel without one of those?

Oooh! Pool. I need to be sure we fork over enough money for a hotel with a pool and hot tub. Good call!

And the married people are mostly going to Disneyland because I get a discount, so I'll be there, Redhead lives less than 3 hours away and gets a discount, so she and her new baby will be there, and other friends all want to meet new baby. It's the first baby in our friend group. :) So this is mostly reunion plus chance to visit a fun theme park.
It doesn't matter what happened to get you to today, beyond shaping your understanding. What really matters is where you go from here.
