i'm waiting before going to grad school. i'm moving to new york city to pursue acting, bartending, and production management.

Good luck with that. My friend owned her own production company before she went to law school. She did an off-Broadway plaly, also worked on the production of some pretty major Broadway plays like Wicked. I confess, it doesn't interest me the slightest, but I'm glad someone likes it.

That sounds like a neat plan. I fully support people taking some time to explore non-academic pursuits before jumping back into school. For what it's worth, I think you'll be an excellent bartender, too.
