3d decided to do his calculus homework in my apartment last night.

If it wasn't anatomy homework, I'd say that's a fairly benign activity.

Yes, but inviting himself over to do his homework is an interesting development in my life.

Oh, but the sheer number of lame pick-up lines provided by a calculus class? I don't know if A&P would be any worse... :Þ

I wish I were your derivative so I could lie tangent to your curves.

That's ... encouraging? But since we can't even find a vet who knows enough about dogs to tell us if she's pregnant (vets in my part of the world tend to deal with cows and goats rather than pets), I'm pretty sure there's not much to be done about it if it *is* cancer.

Maybe your lumpy dog just has benign lipomas? My family's old yellow lab grew a ton of them on his stomach in the couple of years before he died (from unrelated causes). It was like petting a furry bag of balled-up socks.

Sorry about the negativity. I wish I had known what the problem was with my dog before it was too late.
Like Darth Fedora says it might be benign. My dog was also about 13 years old when she got this problem. I suspect that cancer would be rare in a 9 month old dog like yours, Emiliana.

I just finished reading The Way of Kings. I think it may have just stolen the top spot for my favorite Brandon Sanderson novel. Seriously, everyone, go read it. Who cares that it's a thousand pages long? It's worth it!

I swear my mom pre-ordered that. It and Mockingjay are both severely late...
I just got back from the church, where I spent an hour playing the organ for the first time in, oh, two years? And it's okay that my sister lost my organ shoes because I found good replacements.

I just asked 3d for a ride to work in the morning. I feel a little guilty, but he was getting up at six anyway, 5:45 to make sure a girl gets to work on time safely isn't that much earlier.

Nice. I'd planned on buying it anyway (probably tomorrow...), but I'm glad to hear it's that good.

Vorpal, no worries about the negativity. We kind of have to have a sense of humor about our pets around here ... most don't live more than a few years. I mean, I'd be sad if she died, but that would be the fourth pet we've lost in a year -- you can't afford to grieve them too much.
To clarify what I meant about "lumpy," though, it's not quite like lipomas or tumors. Have you seen pictures of malnourished children who have distended bellies from worms? Imagine that look, but on a dog. Her shoulders and hips stick out at weird angles because she has so little body fat, but her belly keeps getting wider. We're thinking more and more that she's pregnant. We just can't figure out how it happened.

I cannot sleep. Could have something to do with the eight-pound ninja in my tummy who's supposed to come out...tomorrow.

Well, shoot. This reminds me that I was going to ask the Board a question at the end of August so Claudio and W&S could battle out their babies.
Is it too late???
Also, what are we naming this ninja? Voldemort's so awesome (no, I seriously love that name); what's a good girl name?
...Maleficent?

Good luck, Krebscout! (Is that what you say to someone who's about to give birth? I'm not sure.)

My fourth grandchild, who will be my first grandson, is supposed to come out in four days. My prayers are with you.
I'm glad you have a good attitude about your dog, Emiliana.

Do we need to talk about the birds and the bees? When a boy dog and a girl dog love each other very much...
