Thanks, Cuddlefish. I laughed 'till I cried. Emotional porn does that to me. :D

If laughing until you cry is a symptom of emotional porn I'm in trouble.

Good point. Hey, glad to hear you can get a good laugh now and then. I suppose you know I was referring to the "romance" comic books the site makes fun of. Lots of other things can make me laugh, so laughing until you cry isn't by itself an indication of emotional porn.

Bah. This didn't fit anywhere else, so might as well post it here.

I think it is stupid that all applicants for visas to visit the United States, via Sec. 214 (b) of the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952, as amended, contains a statutory presumption that all applicants are intending immigrants. Which means they have prove to an adjudicating officer that beyond all shadow of a doubt that they will return. Which essentially means having an unspecified amount of funds in the bank despite proof of employment and enrollment in school.

I may be mistaken, but I believe it is pretty much SOP. I seem to remember seeing very similar requirements in the visa paperwork for Taiwan, China, India, Russia, Poland, and Ireland.

Everyone want's tourists, but most would want some control over immigration.

I agree, and they should. I just think it is needlessly complicated on our side of things even for tourist visas and the like.

Last night I had a dream about the Board. Someone had asked where they could find a copy of Elder Holland's recent devotional on UFOs, and all the writers answered that that was crazy and there was no such devotional. And I read it and I was like, "No! I remember that devotional! I saw it live!" And then I was going all over the internet looking for proof that it had happened, and I couldn't find it anywhere, and I was getting really stressed out. And then I woke up. :D

You dream of questions, I dream of being involved in secret missions with them... Although that was a while ago, but even so, that's what I have dreamed of.

Should we try to have some sort of party/get together before everyone leaves/school starts, or is it too late?

I always have to stop and think when it asks me the color between yellow and blue. Let's see, blue is in the short wavelengths, yellow is in the middle, and red is in the long wavelengths. What color is shorter than yellow and longer than blue?

Everybody come to Pioneer Park tomorrow between 9 and 2 and say hi!

If you've never met me before, you will still easily be able to find me. Just look for the booth with roses everywhere and two kittens tethered to a table. I'm the one with really short hair and my sister Random is the one with freckles.

ROY G. BIV, my good man.

Whoever this strange fictional character is, he's helped me a great deal since 7th grade.

(If it's not obvious, this 'name' is an acronym for the colors of the rainbow, in order; red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet. Thus, green is your answer. Magical.)

I will be coming to hang out, bob. Although by the time you see this, it might be too late and you'll see me in real life first. Oh well. :D
