So, I heard President Uchtdorf's talk, and it was about a little blue flower, but I can't remember what it was called...

I know! It's Alaska's state flower, if I remember correctly.

It was a great meeting all around. I appreciated the focus on charity. They're always so nice to us ladies.

In other news, our son was recently playing with a baby doll and asked where its hearing aids were. I thought about making some toy hearing aids for the doll, but then I found some online for less than a dollar a pair. But then I saw that shipping was eight bucks. So I'm back to making some. Any ideas on materials? I could just make them from fabric, but they're so small I'm not sure the shape will come across.

What if you got those foam earplugs from a convenience store and spray painted them then added some wire? (As you can tell, I'm not entirely sure what hearing aids look like, but I think those foam earplugs could work.)

Thanks, I have some foam earplugs for myself, hadn't thought about using them.

I'm eating marshmallows right now. I don't even like marshmallows. They're only sugar in the house, and sugar gives me stomach pains. Emotional eating. It's been a stressful morning.

In conjunction with your last post I thought you were going to say something about how you can use marshmellows as earplugs and I was about to warn you! Anyway, sorry it's been stressful. If you play minecraft and dig stuff up, does that help? For me I feel like sometimes video games de-stress me and sometimes they just stress me out.

Hmm. Interesting idea. Of course, my friendship bracelets wouldn't work well. I tend toward the ones that are an inch or more wide. : )

EVERYONE: do not take photos that are not yours.

Because I know everyone cares, I ended up with some toy hearing aids by accident today. Our son got a new pair of real ones, and they came with a care package including a little stuffed otter with velcro-attached hearing aids. Woooo serendipity.

Augh.
Monday- got up, went to work, went straight to FHE, got home at 9:30, got convinced to go hot tubbing, home for good at 11 PM
Tuesday- got up, went to work, went straight to swim class, went straight to rehearsal, went straight to farewell party for friend, got home for good at 11:30 PM.
It's one of those weeks again. I'm too old for this.

Just another bout of our Etsy photos being stolen. I'm actually a little embarrassed, now, that I whined about it here; it was a fairly simple case, and the entire page has been deleted now. It was one of those people who had yet to learn that photos you find through Google image search are actually not free to use.

I just got angsty because the last couple of times our photos were stolen it was a long drawn out thing that stressed me out for several days.

I steal photos off the internet all the time, but they are usually video game screenshots. Does the person who made the screenshot have more of a right to it than I do?
