(I did notice that the Music and the Spoken Word broadcast on Sunday spent an exceeding amount of time on the fresh peaches during the nature montage...)

They haven't decided when the funeral will be, but I will definitely go. It is a state away, but within a day's trip.

I assume your baby hasn't come yet, krebscout. My grandson hasn't come yet, either. I hope you have someone there to help you out. My wife is flying out tomorrow to be with my son and daughter-in-law. They just moved to Michigan and don't know anyone. Her mother wasn't able to get off work to help out. Hopefully the baby will come soon. My wife will be gone for four weeks.

She is sorry that she will miss my uncle's funeral. I lived with this uncle for the year before my wife and I married, and she grew to love my aunt and uncle. I think knowing these wonderful people helped convince her that she should marry me.

Well, shoot. I checked the Institute schedule last night and knew that my class started at 9, but this morning I didn't have time and figured it started at 9:30. It did not. I could've totally made it, too. Now I have to find something to work on.

That's quite a long time to be missing your wife, especially in a time of mourning. Don't let yourself get too lonely. And may all our respective babies come soon.

Last night my roommates and I were playing cards in the living room, all in long sleeves and socks with blankets on our shoulders. Last night's low was 68. Clearly we've been living in the tropics too long.

I think it's interesting how other guys make me appreciate my husband more. Like last night, we went to a football party with our neighbors...and the whole time I kept thinking, "I'm SO glad I didn't marry one of THESE guys."

Plans have been finalized, I'm going to Rexburg on Saturday!

I dunno though, that place gets pretty small. I can imagine wanting to get out and stretch your legs, even if the place is a little shady. I imagine being born is like pulling up to a kinda seedy looking gas station after a long car ride. You've been cooped up all day, and you need to get out, but the look of the attendant with the scraggly mustache, cut-off jeans, and sleeveless Metallica t-shirt, combined with very unsanitary conditions and a puddle of what can only be urine in the corner make you a little wary. Eventually, the wanderlust wins the day and you get out of the car. So, too, must a baby eventually be born.

I was also thinking of refuting that statement, but Marduk put it far more eloquently than I could have.
