Today's to-do list:

*Get car from brother, even if I have to walk all the way to his work
*Visit animal shelter again
*If Tucker isn't at the shelter, stop by the police station
*Buy Princess and the Frog

I've seen fire and I've seen rain
I've seen sunny days that I thought would never end
I've seen lonely times when I could not find a friend
But I always thought that I'd see you again

I went to a seminar on building bone strength and the speaker used the example of jumping off of tables as a good form of load-bearing exercise to strengthen bones. Now it's a running joke amongst the three people I was there with.

I am intrigued by this 'sunbutter' you mention.

Oh, it's good! It's like peanut butter, only with sunflower seeds. I tried some at the farmer's market (I think) a few months ago. It's very expensive if you buy it in the store, but sunflower seeds are really cheap, so I decided to try to make some. I didn't really find a great recipe online, so I'll just tell you what I did. I took a bunch of raw sunflower seeds and ground them up in the magic bullet with the grinder blade (you could also use a food processor). Sunflower seeds don't have as much oil as peanuts, so it's kind of mealy after that. So I added some coconut oil and agave nectar and a tiny bit of salt and stirred it all up until it was creamy! You could use any kind of oil, I'm just on a coconut oil thing at the moment. And you could use sugar or honey - I just buy agave nectar because it's cheaper than honey, and I thought it would help with the consistency, whereas sugar wouldn't. It took less than 10 minutes to make and probably cost about a dollar!

The way you phrased this makes me think that you're a fan of (or at least have seen) Phineas and Ferb. Am I correct?

My mouth hurts. :( It never used to when I was a kid. I think hygienists must just be meaner now.

And I would've had to go back tomorrow to get a cavity filled, but two days in a row (not to mention a certain personal holiday) is a bit much. Especially now that my gums have started throbbing.

Lovely.

When I first read this, I thought it said "officers" instead of "offices." I guess each can be scary in their own way.
I hope you find your cat soon.

Aw man, C4, don't scare me. I have about 6 cavities that need filling. : (

We hope we find our cat too. We haven't seen him in over a week. What possessed that 6th grader to take off with him?

Is it your birthday tomorrow? Or is it something else?

If my sister gets any more adorable, she is going to kill us all with cuteness.
