Ever have days where you literally just don't feel like getting out of bed until about 1 in the afternoon?

I'd like everyone to read my late mother's advice on conditioner, eczema, and of course, how she met my father. She was a good mom. :'-|

It sounds like it. (I lost my mom when I was young. It sucks. *hug*)

I was hit by a car today. In that it bumped my heel and ran over the back of my flip-flop while I was putting my kids in the car because she couldn't wait to get in her parking spot.

one time the car I was riding in ran over my foot because I was too excited to wait for it to stop before I got out.

One time a Taiwanese guy ran over my foot with his scooter. Because I put my foot under the front wheel right as he was about to pull out. Then he felt bad until I told him it didn't hurt. Them he didn't believe me, so he tried to run over his own foot with the scooter while he was still on it. Then he fell over right as my companion looked over to see what was going on.

Note to self: Do not forget to put your laundry in the dryer until after midnight, especially when said laundry contains your work uniform which you need tomorrow morning.

Also, Gio, your story wins the internets for today.

In honor of National Coming Out Day, I just bought an Obama bumper sticker and an Equality bumper sticker.

Speaking of what day it is, I passed one wedding dress on my way in to work today at 7:30. I wonder how many more there are today. (I entertained the idea of this being my wedding day, but I have a dentist appointment tomorrow so it never would've worked.)

Is today a particularly good day for weddings? I think I'm confused....

Yep! Only works in America. Europeans would go for a November date.

I got readmitted to college the same exact day my mom died. I always knew she was efficient, but wow, I didn't know she'd be on top of micromanaging my life from the other side THAT DAY. Now I have really good motivation to kick @$$!! Pretty sure I have talk material in perpetuity right there. O_o (Not to mention ohhh do not bug me with your miniscule problems, boyfriend material, but that's kind of douchey. Haha :) )

Thanks. Everyone has been incredibly supportive. I got the most touching Facebook letter from my childhood best friend today. The cancer sucked. Her moving on to Phase II is okay. I'm taking it the best of anyone in my family, I think. I guess I inherited her resilience and "oh brother, suck it up and move on" ethos.

So all you medical types, I want to see meaningful research STAT.

I think this year's Nobel Prize in medicine was related to the work of making adult stem cells, which is good.
