Who needs boys when I have the perfect schedule (12-4 M-Th), a job waiting for me, and am applying for summer internships in the Big City? Not to mention I'm feeling quite skinny, which lends an aura of righteousness to my indignation.
That's the spirit!
I also have applied for a flurry of internships. BYU has excellent internship websites, especially through the English, Communications, and Kennedy Center departments. Not to mention networking with local independent bookstores and high school teachers I run into at the cemetery, of all places. (!) (My mom would love it. :P)

I'm going to take a deep breath and remind myself that it's not my job to correct everybody who's ever been wrong about something. Heck, I have enough on my plate trying to correct my sixth graders when they think that you add fractions by adding the numerators together and the denominators together.

Things you don't want to hear at the doctor's: "Oh, that's weird. Let's send you back to the lab for another test."

It looks like it was just a random weird test rather than an actual problem. Which is kind of annoying, because I just got poked full of needles for NOTHING. Haha

Things you DO want to hear at the dentist's: "Oh, it looks like your mouth grew on your mission! That means you don't ever have to get your wisdom teeth out!"

Please don't remind me that I really need to get my wisdom teeth out when my insurance ran out a couple of months ago...

But I'm pretty sure reading Hilary Mantel curled up by the fire with a blanket until 1 is my definition of happiness . . .

Remind me that I'm never going in a where a cat even has a remote possibility if being in the same room as me for the rest of my life.

Amen. I spent Thursday night sneezing my brains out at a book club, which so wasn't worth it. Also, my sister insists on bringing her family's cat with them when they travel instead of just hiring a cat sitter and it makes me so mad.

Yeah. The cat walked in the room and I knew it right away. My nose started running, and then the sneezing started. And didn't stop.
