Oh, good call! I was living in Illinois when I first learned about this verse and it freaked me out. (I think you've got it right.)

Hmmm. This is proving interesting. I simply do not know enough New England songs. With a sample size of me, I'd guess that the last state filled would one of those fiddly nor-easter ones.
