Sorry Whistler, I just saw this. But, small world. I worked in Advisement from 2007-2009. I knew (of) most of the therapists that worked in personal counseling at that time. Occasionally I'd get students who started out saying they had academic concerns, when really it was something for counseling. I guess some students are maybe less intimidated to talk to an academic advisor than to venture over to the personal counseling, so we'd help get them to the right place.

Weird, my post on this thread yesterday didn't show up. I had written that I just started medication, and it's been wonderful so far. My brother and dad are on the same thing and like it, so the doc said I had a good chance with this one from the start.
