Interesting, vorpal! I feel like I've heard of most singers/pop culture people, regardless of whether I'm familiar with their work. Kind of like how I know the Kardashians are famous, but couldn't tell you what they do. Thank you, internet.

I wonder if the age range of people aware of any given current thing skews lower because of technology/media.

Also, as far as too old to know Ricky Martin, my mother knows who he is, and is probably about the same age as Vorpal. She is Mexican though, and has a vested interest in knowing those sorts of things (also because she taught Spanish.)

I know vaguely of this Ricky Martin guy, and I'm 19. It was a familiar name, and I can probably sing most if not all of Livin' La Vida Loca. Am I the youngest? Do I win?
