I feel like if it's vitally important that a box is unchecked on the online form, maybe the default shouldn't be having the box checked. Just saying.

Seriously, everything I do at my job, I just think to myself, "I could design a way better system than this in a matter of hours."

Yayfulness, I totally understand. :)

Uffish, Civ 5! I started playing about a month ago. I can see how you could get played out on it. I usually don't stay up until 3 am doing anything, but last night was a weird exception.

I have Civ 5, but I'm afraid to install it because a) don't know if my computer will run it and b) I don't want to be distracted from work. But I really really want to play it...

I'm sorry, Tally M. That's always tough. I hate migraines. I'm glad to hear that you're feeling better. :-)

Sitting in the wilk eating my delicious BACON sandwich thinking-- "gee, Subway should really have some way of making their sandwiches spill proof."

Ugh. Why can't I remember that chick flicks are bad for me? They make me all angsty. Stupid unreal expectations.

They're...like...they're just kind of bots who troll the site making us show up in the search index for when people are searching for things.

I think.

And by troll I think I mean trawl. Since obviously they're not doing much posting.

It was Lie to Me, a Koran tv show. So a very long chick flick.

Since swearing off chick flicks after Christmas break (long story) the only one I'll watch is Decoy Bride...mostly because it's Scottish and has David Tennant in it.

I know this is a typo, nevertheless, the thought of a Quran-based chick flick delights me.

I'd watch a chick flick with 72 virgins in it.

Blech. So I'm in a neurobiology class. Science has never really been my strong suit, though when it is not abstract I'm much better at it. Unfortunately, neurobiology is quite hard for me to define and remember. (Ironically, it is about learning and memory! Maybe not ironic, just a little funny.) We have a test tomorrow morning. The drop deadline for classes is the day after. I am really not looking forward to this one bit and a part of me wants to give up and another part wants to prove that I can learn about science and be just fine.

I took neuroscience and it was hard. I think it could have been taught better, or maybe I could have studied better, but I worked hard for that B+. It wasn't even complex chemicals or anything, just memorizing where certain paths are and the order information goes through them... which is a little harder than memorizing psychology terms, for me anyway.

I have felt this pain, and I don't know what you should do.

The course of our conversation: I am single --> a theological debate on iwastesomuchtime --> I am single, because my singleness is a more pleasant topic.
