That seems awfully complicated for something that's going in your belly.

My luck, if I worked that hard on it, I'd probably burn it.

And I think I'm pretty special when I just lattice my apple pies...

It doesn't look good for LDS CEO of SerialTek Dale Smith, whose small aircraft carrying him and his family disappeared over Idaho en route to Butte, Montana.

A Wall Street firm called Blackstone bought a credit default swap on a European parlor and racing track company called Codere. The content of the bet was if Codere made a loan payment late, Blackstone would make money. Blackstone then loaned Codere $100 million with the stipulation that they make a loan payment late. Codere made a loan payment late to get Blackstone to loan them $100 million, and then Blackstone picked up $15.6 million for winning the credit default swap bet that they helped themselves win. And it was totally legal. What a world :(

Women have more cross-hemisphere brain connections, whereas men have more intra-hemisphere brain connections, per The Economist. Can we stop the sex bickering and start capitalizing on this?

I was pretty surprised at the snarky tone of this article on Slate about abolishing gen ed Writing papers, but it's an interesting premise. I think most BYU students are better thinkers than what's portrayed. In my opinion, BYU has become more academically selective in the past ten years.

And the best charts of 2013 on Quartz, my favorite news site.

Oh hey, apparently being rich means you don't have to take responsibility for your actions. I am horrified that this happened in my own back yard.
