An a capella group at my company picnic sang the theme song to Civ 4 (I believe). It was awesome.

I think I'm getting more and more introverted. I'm on a trip with some of my favorite people in the world, and yet about half the time I just want to hide the my room and curl up in a ball and cry for no reason.

It probably doesn't help that I'm feeling like a 3rd wheel though. (Or a 5th, or a 7th.) Not all the other couples are romantic, but I still feel like the person that's just getting in the way.

YES PLEASE. I was just re-lamenting the fact that no one wanted to play it with me (Random is super meh about it (plus we have to play hot seat) and Marduk's computer can't handle it for some reason).

Psh. You and your husband are the best, and I borrow you often. Also I'm feeling much better this morning. And the editrix will be riding back down with us on Monday, so I'll be much less the odd man out there, and that will be nice.

That's what I was assuming we'd have to do; schedule time once a week or so where we can all be online for a few hours. There's gotta be some day where we all have an afternoon or evening free.

Do you know if we all have to have the same expansion(s) in order to play with each other?

ETA: Looked it up. Apparently we don't have to have the same expansion(s), but those who have them will have to play without them. Alternately, everyone who doesn't have G&K could buy it today while it's still on sale, and then we could all play with that expansion.

There is a big regional YSA conference this weekend. I went to the whole day of events yesterday and was being super outgoing and social. I met a bunch of people, flirted with a bunch of guys, and danced almost every song in the evening. I only sat out when I was tired or needed a drink. Since I often let my introverted traits take over at events like that, I'm really proud of myself. And it was so very fun. Off to the combined sacrament meeting today.

Off to Bear Lake for three days.
