I brought the charger for my laptop today, but I forgot to bring the part that actually plugs into the wall. It is pretty much sad.

Well, it does to me. Maybe it depends. I don't have enough brain energy left to try to think about a real life example other than this church. Maybe I can get back to you in, say, 5 years?
