I'm sorry. I woke up this morning, and spent most of the day when not at work, indulging in tears of exasperation because I hate my job. But then I stay at work and find myself enjoying it a little bit.

Think of this decade as the screenplay for the First Act, before we're thirty and have some glamorous nebulous Manhattan job and not one, but two boyfriends who are both muscular pastry chefs and inconceivably rich.

Isn't there a website where you can go type what you remember about a book and people help you figure out what it is?

Here is my first world problem/hippie freakshow of the day. It is really starting to drive me crazy and make mad when people call reusable menstrual products "mama cloth." Because there are plenty of us who aren't mothers who use them too!!!!!!

Try Goodreads. Yeah, that's technically for requests on what to read next, but plenty of people use it to find books they can't remember.

LibraryThing has a similar forum (although you might have more success with GR's larger user base). And there's another website in addition to the one Mico suggested, but I can't remember it off the top of my head.

Had to do mental math on this: that's over 2% in Utah, or roughly the same proportion as, say, Jews or Mormons in the U.S. Why would the autism rate be so high here?! I thought there was a link with advanced maternal age: are these autistic children often the youngest in a large family here with a mom well into her 30s/40s? Is it trendy?

Small clarification Portia: that's the autism DIAGNOSIS rate, not necessarily the autism rate. A significant possible factor, as mentioned in the article, is that it is possibly getting over-diagnosed, or under-diagnosed in places like Alabama with much lower incidence rate.

Ok, I don't know if this is some kind of new thing, or if I just have weird friends. But all of a sudden a bunch of my LDS friends have changed their facebook profile picture to that picture of Christ coming out of the tomb. I know it's Easter and everything, but that's just a bit much. I have no problem with people posting all the pictures they want of Christ on their wall, but it seems a bit weird to make it your profile picture, since your profile picture is ostensibly a picture of you, and all of these people are not Christ. Has anyone else noticed this, or is this just a weird Southern Alberta thing (because it seems to be all Southern Alberta people who are doing it)?
