I finally finished my scarf and have been proudly wearing it everywhere! Now to come up with a pattern for my fingerless gloves.
The Epistler was quite honestly knocked on her ethereal behind by the sheer logic of this.

I just spent $50 on some sock yarn (with silk in it!) and really nice yarn to make a shawl out of, to add to my pile of unfinished objects that's never going to be finished. OH, and I just bought a magazine with a pattern for a crochet nativity scene in it!

Aye, I've looked about. There are some that I like, but none that are exactly what I want, and so of course I, as a new knitter, am going to choose making up a pattern over finding one. : )
