I already posted this on Facebook, but I'm still feeling awkward about it, so I'm saying it again...
I came to work today and not only was there no parking space for me (they pile all the snow there) all the secretaries are wearing trousers! It's, like, against Church policy to do that. I thought. And here I am in my skirt and nylons (well, tights today, living on the edge), pretty much hiding in my office so no one sees my little fashion faux pas. Totally missed the memo on that one (and it must have been a memo of some sort, otherwise they wouldn't all be doing it).

If I remember right from my days there, if the temp goes under a certain temp, you can wear pants.

Aha. Yes. That would be the memo I missed. They didn't do a very thorough job training me, seeing as I'm "temporary" and all. It was a tad chilly, this morning.

Makes sense to me.

Guys, I made a friend here in California! Outside of church! And she has a son the same age as my son!
Simple as that is, it's a big blessing.

This is one of the reasons I really do not like reading
Pride and Prejudice.
And I just discovered the only Animaniacs cartoon that has ever made me want to gag:
A Very Very Very Very Special Show.

eh, dry and perhaps tasteless in parts, but I don't know if it was all that emetic for me.

We made a Mii Voldemort on or Wii. We named him Voldy Baby. I was doing Wii Fit this morning and during the Advanced Step, Voldy was in the audience bouncing to the rhythm and clapping for me. It's moments like this that make Wii Fit totally worth it.

So, I was grouchy this morning because I didn't feel well. You know what two things did a remarkable job of cheering me up ... ? Teaching a couple of grammar lessons, and rocking a fussy baby to sleep. I think I might be odd.

"Odd? Where would you get an idea like
that?"

I feel plagiarized.

I believe we may have named him that before your son was born, but I'm not sure. It was shortly after we got married. Maybe…. Oct or Nov 2008?
He was named after a Jingle Spells song, "Voldy Baby, the Floo Network is open tonight…"
