I love Terry Pratchett. Too bad he's going to make me go broke.

You mean the author? How would this make you go broke?...unless you buy books instead of getting them from the library...

Yeah. I like to re-read books. And the library is relatively far away from where I live. And it's time and effort to go. And I always incur late fees, so it's just as cheap to buy them for $8 a pop.

Better to support the authors anyways imo...
Plus it's cheap entertainment...
1.5 hour movie for 8 bucks (16 if you bring a date)
or 8-16 hours of reading for 8 bucks...
The choice is clear...
(albeit WoW addicts win this game at 240+ hours for 15 bucks a month)

Only 240? What are you talking about? What's 30 x 24 again?

But I was assuming only playing 8 hours a day... (leaving 8 for work and 8 for sleep)

for cheap books I recommend alibris.com. You can buy most used books for $2 (but plus $4 S&H; less if you buy multiple books from the same seller).

Thanks Whistler. Sounds interesting. I'll have to check it out.

Good WoW addicts don't have jobs. They live at home with their moms.

Good WoW addicts don't have jobs. They live at home with their moms.
After being divorced because they devoted more time to WoW than to their own wives and children.

Hmm, book for 8-16 hours or WoW for hours on end and stealing you from having a life...
Your choice now, but I like having a life.
Plus, the date is short, but you might find someone for eternity with it. So, yeah, it's a gamble, but you can't take WoW or books to heaven.

As we understand it no. But Dante may think otherwise about the books, and I am sure there will be plenty of people in the spirit world calling for a battle rez.

I'm getting paid to eat tonight and tomorrow. This makes me happy. I love my job. Although I'm not too happy about wearing stage black for two days. I don't own any black pants, so I'm stuck in a skirt.

I figured that once you knew my last name it was only a matter of time.

Yeah. It just took a little bit of making connections. Although you did fairly well to remain anonymous. Good work.

Have you ever had an awkward conversation which sparked you to curiosity which caused you to learn something really disturbing?
