Re: Nine for Random Chatter, doomed to die
I've been itching for days, and I can't figure out what's causing it. At first I thought it was bug bites. Now I think it's probably an allergy of some sort. Even my PALMS are itching like crazy. This is totally bizarre...
Re: Nine for Random Chatter, doomed to die
Itchy skin all over is often a symptom of dry skin all over, which is often a symptom of hard water. I'd check if that's what's giving you issues.

Possible. But I've got some of these little bumps everywhere too...mostly on my scalp, forearms, and legs.
Re: Nine for Random Chatter, doomed to die
for a while I would get random hives and I still don't know what the cause was. But a benedryl still might help.

I think I might be allergic to our Christmas tree. How sad...

Re: Nine for Random Chatter, doomed to die
I once got itchy bumps all over me, kind of like that. Back in '97, I think. It was right after I got a tetanus vaccine, so I was told that I was possibly allergic, and not to get another tetanus vaccine unless I really need one. Which has posed for some funtimes in travels and doctor's appts.
But then, right after I got married I got them again. No tetanus shot that time. So either I'm allergic to Yellow, or the bumps are from some totally unknown cause. And who knows if the two sets of them are even related. [shrug]

Yes, remember the statistician's mantra: correlation does not equal causation.

Upon a second viewing, I think I like Avatar even less. Other than the stunning eye-candy, was there supposed to be anything redeeming about this movie?

Re: Nine for Random Chatter, doomed to die
I have totally dedicated my life to saving the blue people.
The Epistler was quite honestly knocked on her ethereal behind by the sheer logic of this.
Re: Nine for Random Chatter, doomed to die
So I had a talk last night with Mr. I-Think-You're-Spectacular-and-I'm-Glad-We're-Such-Good-Friends last night and we have agreed that once we're on the same continent again there is definite potential for more than Such-Good-Friends. This doesn't make our current relationship significantly less ambiguous, but at least the ambiguity is in the open?

Yeah, that sounds like it's going in a good direction!
Re: Nine for Random Chatter, doomed to die
I ordered spicy chicken nuggets, and they gave me regular (either by mistake or because they were out, but they certainly didn't ask me.) This bothers me an inordinant amount for something that costs just slightly over a dollar.

I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high, but ... yeah, I'm pretty happy.
Re: Nine for Random Chatter, doomed to die
Does anyone think it would be the most awesome thing ever to get a real life Christmas card from me? I have a bunch left that will just languish in the recycle bin if no one claims them.
PM me your address if you're interested.

Oh yay! You're the second one to take me up on this!
Um... does anybody know how much postage to put on a letter to Canada?
I have some 94 cent stamps... think one of those would do it?

Forgive my Old Testament ignorance, but I just read that Marduk is the chief god of Babylon...it all makes sense now.
