Well, crap. The family reunion I'm supposed to go to in a week is at my (immediate) family's property about nine miles or so from
this. Our neighbors there are apparently being told to evacuate. Not good...
Edit: Ok, apparently our property isn't in as much immediate danger as I thought. But it's still definitely not a good thing.

Apparently, the guy who taught me doesn't have problems with them anymore, due to his excellent approach. But I'm still not getting close to one without a dang good reason.

I saw this morning that my mother answered it. And that made me want to bang my head on my desk, because I talked to her about what to do/not to do when I set up her account a couple of months ago. Sigh. Senior citizens and computers are always a bad mix.
However, the more tragic one (well, to me, since I was a math teacher) was on my nephew's feed a few weeks ago. " 10+10*0 = " and then "share if the answer is 10, like if it is 0, comment if it is 20". My nephew "liked" it, along with thousands and thousands of others. But the comments were the worst part. I wish I could quote them, but it is mysteriously gone from his feed . . . Our favorite one started off by yelling at everyone that they were idiots for getting it wrong, and that everyone needed to stay in school, because obviously the answer was 0. Sad day for math teachers everywhere.
