I have no decent excuse not to have come. except that I have a fear of hospitals. and I had to go to class too soon after they left. But I hope everything went well.

Yes, fun was had. Laughs shared, especially concerning some very awkward topics.

bob - it's okay. I don't expect people to skip class for me.
unit - that's fine. I hope you get okay with hospitals eventually, though. They're helpful to have.
sam - no comment. ;^)

I'm mostly ok with them, they just creep me out some.

I guess I've just spent too much time in hospitals. (Most of it wasn't for me, but for my mom or dad)

The hospital was fun last time I went! Of course, I was getting a new little sister at the time. : D

I love maternity wards. But I think that being dragged along when my dad would home teach a terminally ill patient kind of cemented a certain dislike for hospitals.

Well, it is conference weekend, Sam.
In other news, I found out I have moderate to severe aorta stenosis, along with several other random things wrong with my heart. Unfortunately, I won't find out more details until the 23rd. But, I'm still alive. yay!

That's somewhat surprising. Stenosis usually is caused by calcification, not too common in those of the younger generations. Did you by chance suffer from rheumatic fever when younger?

They asked me at the hospital, too. I didn't have it, not to my knowledge at least. Though they did say it also can be caused by Strep, which I did have.
