I can breathe and hear again!! This is glorious. My sinuses have been a mess all weekend...

Marduk, when did your name become green?

It's not fair; the settings got changed so that as a moderator he gets to be a different color. But even though I'm an admin (emphasis mine) I'm still plain old blue and no one knows how special I am.Dead Cat wrote:Marduk, when did your name become green?
(But it's really okay. I like being sneaky.)
Re: Nine for Random Chatter, doomed to die
Not only is my name green, it is also... thicker.
I guess that's so I can get right in the "thick" of it?

I tried to figure out how to make our names red again, C4, but nothing so far.

Got it! But I think another color would work better...

Ack! Stop switching it around, Bob! Pick one and stick with it!

I haven't found the right color yet.

I just had a boy call me to ask where he could get his hair cut. It was a weird experience.

Re: Nine for Random Chatter, doomed to die
We went outside to play today for the first time in weeks. It was wonderful. Perfect temperature, light breeze, neighborhood kids. Dragon Baby and I were both in heaven.
Re: Nine for Random Chatter, doomed to die
I was just at a party where my friend lost her ring. Playing four square. I don't know how it happened but I feel really bad for her. So if any of you want to spend a couple of hours scouring Joaquin Park (just from the pavilion north), you might find something shiny.
In other news, yes, the weather was wonderful today.

I won two contests in April. This month has been made of win. ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)

What sort of contests, and did you get fabulous prizes?

Contest #2 was on a movie review radio show / podcast I listen to. They have a movie-related Question of the Week, and you can win a DVD if they like your answer. Last week's QOTW was asking about your favorite drive-in movie experience. My parents actually met at a singles activity where they went to a drive-in movie, so I told that story. They liked it and read it on the air, so I need to contact them to give them my address and find out what DVDs they have available.

We had a spontaneous deep spring clean today. That can happen when nothing is planned for a Saturday, really. Holy cow, we got rid of SO MUCH STUFF.

I'm working on getting back into my style of writing; I just spent the last half hour writing legalese. Hooray copyright infringement.

Re: Nine for Random Chatter, doomed to die
I'm tempted to make a thread called, "What's for dinner?" and every night people post what they had/are having for dinner. Just to give me more ideas. Because I always seem to be out of ideas.

Re: Nine for Random Chatter, doomed to die
Did someone already do that, or did I dream that?

Re: Nine for Random Chatter, doomed to die
I am...not sure if we actually made that thread. I think we just talked about it. And now we're talking about it again. But I would be okay with telling you every day, especially since I am not the main cook so don't have to come up with ideas.Dragon Lady wrote:I'm tempted to make a thread called, "What's for dinner?" and every night people post what they had/are having for dinner. Tonight, we had grilled steak and funeral potatoes, with a dessert of triple chocolate cake with raspberry sauce and vanilla ice cream. It's my sister's birthday, you see, and she came all the way up from Provo to have dinner with us! (The steak was left over from last night's IEEE steak fry; we always buy up extras.)
(I'm just showing off; while steak and potatoes are yummy, they're not the most original of dinner ideas.)
