Remember when BYU blocked Youtube? Pretty sure that was my entire college career.

Now, speaking of careers, you know what else blocks Youtube? The Church. For good reason; it just feels like it's not a good reason when I can't get any of the Mormon Messages to work (not even on iTunes).

So, remember when I said we'd live here for at least another year?

I lied.

Yellow got a job offer up in SLC and is taking it. Now starts the house hunt. In good news, I get a real house!

yay to a real house!

i just found out today that we have to displace a teacher at my school, but we're lucky because most schools are losing 3-12 teachers for next year.

and i'm guaranteed to not be the one leaving, so that's comforting!

Heh. Funny you should mention that, DL. At work the other day, they announced a new position for an iPhone developer and the first person who came to my mind was Yellow. Doesn't he do that? I think you mentioned something about him programming apps. Anyway, I was going to mention that to you, but I guess it's a little late now. Oh well. Congrats on the job and good luck on the house hunt! I know several people who have gotten amazing deals on houses lately. It's a great time to buy.

Congrats on having that choice settled. :)

I had a really weird dream last night. McDonalds had somehow convinced the world to destroy all paper things. This included genealogical records and family history. There was some other weird stuff involving other new technology that was wreaking havoc that was probably the reason why paper was being destroyed, but I got really upset when no one else seemed to realize that when the havoc was over, their historical documents would be gone.
I'm not as historically minded in real life, but I would be very sad if my grandma asked me to burn our family history like she did in my dream.

@bigcheese - yes, that's what he does. Well, at his current job he does mac development. On the side he does iPod/iPad development. At his new job he'll do iPod/iPad development.

@Katya - oh yes. I'm so glad that's over. Chat at me if you want to hear "the rest of the story". (Anyone else remember that radio show?)

Here's to hoping house hunting, selling, showing our condo, packing while keeping the condo clean, moving, etc., is as much fun as my brain is trying to convince itself it is. :D

I miss Paul Harvey and "The rest of the story". Sometimes I hear a story and wonder, "But what is the rest of the story?"

Ha. We passed a billboard today that said "Your wife is hot. You should probably get the a/c fixed."

Today was C is for Catching all the attention day. First I had to suddenly lead the music in sacrament meeting, then I was called as Relief Society president, and then I had to (got to) teach Sunday School! It's a good thing I love catching all the attention. Which is why Gospel Doctrine teacher was a perfect calling for me.

And why RS pres is now perfect for you. Apparently you needed more attention. ;)

Good luck with that! I've been there, done that, and I wish you all the luck in the world. :D

Why did delay watching Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog for so long? I think I've found another thing to become obsessed with...

There are some seriously annoying issues that accompany switching insurance companies 4 times in approx. 2-3 months. It's just really no fun to get a new insurance company before you even get the insurance cards from the last. Or investing in a FSA only to decide to switch jobs and lose what you had invested in there. (Thankfully not much, since we only invested in it for a month and a half.) Ugh. Ugh. Ugh.

YOU GUYS!

I just got a big scary letter from the IRS. They said I owe them money, and that I need to pay them immediately. They said I could send them forms and money, or I could appeal, but that I needed to respond and take appropriate action.

I'm not sure what to do. I also don't know if I can come up with the money that they are demanding. Here's what they say in the letter: "return this voucher with Form 12153. Amount you owe: $ .01."

Sauron says you should pay them three cents. His dad overpaid a speeding ticket by two cents, and they sent him a check for it three years later. Because they have to make their books balance...despite the fact that postage costs more than that.

Sticking it to the man: hilarious everybody?
