If I'm far enough with my homework, I'll come. But I might have too much to do, sorry.

The word "simulation" always sounds like it's not a real word to me for some reason. I think "similation" would sound better.

With my homework, I looked at the word 'swing' so many times, I started questioning its validity as a real word.

I've questioned lots of words as being invalid. Including my name, the, and word. Yeah, pretty much any word will become strange if you spend too much time on it. I still question whether or not great is a word and if it is spelt that way after November.

My Aunt had her baby on Saturday and my uncle called to tell me that my cousin thought I might like to know it was his (my new cousin) birthday.

In August. Until at least January, maybe until May or so. It depends.

Coincidentally I was in Orlando Florida last week. I often go there on business. Last week I had my wife with me. They have a beautiful temple there, but I suppose you knew that. I've never been to Disney World. We did go to Medieval Times, however.
Are you engaged, or is the trip to Florida preliminary to that? If you don't mind me being nosey.

I don't mind at all, vorpal. To tell the truth, it's actually just a joke. You see, a friend of mine is coming home from his mission at the end of August, ie after I will have left for Florida, and due to several things that happened before he left my parents joke that I can't go to Florida because I'm supposed to marry this young man. I always counter by saying I'm going to marry someone in Florida.
That's the story. : D

Hey, thanks for letting me in on the joke. That's funny.
Seventy years ago my mother and father were dating each other at BYU. Then my mother left, with just one more year of college to go, to work on the census in Washington, D.C. I guess that would be the 1940 census. My father didn't want to lose her, so he quit school and followed her, without a job. I guess it impressed my mother that he was serious. They got married that summer (after my dad turned 21) and lived happily ever after.
Moral of the story is, if it is meant to be, he'll follow you.

I'm happy! Work today was canceled due to the weather. I probably shouldn't be so happy, what with the loss of today's income, but I am anyway.

Unfortunately student jobs on the Broadcasting production crew are only paid for time actually working.
