I need help with something pretty random

So, right now my mom is really into finding people on the internet that she used to know a long time ago, and especially people that she knew when she was at BYU. I had the idea that maybe she could join the BYU network on Facebook (since she's already on Facebook anyway, and most of her friends that she's already found are on Facebook, so there's a good chance that others are on there) as an alumna, but the trouble is that she graduated in the 60s, so of course she didn't have a BYU email address since Al Gore hadn't yet invented the internet.

Anyway, does anyone know if there's some way she can join the BYU network without an email address or get a BYU email address somehow?

your mom can get a BYU e-mail forwarding address from the BYU alumni center. see http://alumni.byu.edu/benefits/emailforwarding.cfm
