I just wanted to mention that I have a really good bread recipe that calls for bacon grease.

I sometimes make cornbread with bacon grease.

I guess Sky Bones doesn't cook with butter, either . . .

My dad likes to cook string beans with some bacon grease, though it isn't my favorite.

Adding some to give your morning omelet some flavor isn't half bad though.

My cooking with bacon grease only goes as far as cooking my breakfast eggs in the same frying pan.
