When my mom was pregnant with my little brother, she mailed out little squares of cloth and with safety pins pinned to them. Two big ones for my mom and my dad, a medium one for me, and a tiny one inside one of the big ones. (This might have made more sense twenty years ago, when large safety pins were more closely associated with cloth diapers.)
