This totally has happened to me! If I'd known about the Board a year ago, I might have asked this question. It's good to know I'm not the only one that is crazy like this.
TheBlackSheep's advice was right on. I would add that "feeling the chemistry" is helped along when the other person feels it too, and a good way to hint that you want to feel it from them is to act it.
Maybe that's not true, though. Been a long time since I've put that into practice and my memory might be fuzzy.
Finally, the way it worked out with me is the fella didn't feel the same about me, and started showing interest in other girls, so I had to forcibly cut out that part of my heart over Christmas break. That's a good way to tell (if flirting doesn't have immediate results) if it's going to work.
