Snow

I'm just Curious. Facebook told me that it snowed in Provo after all. How much?

We have 4 inches here. An inch before we woke up and then constant snowfall since around noon.

*sigh*

You can talk about how excited you are for the snow, or any other snow-related topic as well, to make this new thread worthwhile.

Not much. It didn't stick. Crazy cold though.

Not that crazy. Only mildly delirious.

It stuck at my house. We have like an inch and a half or so. It reminded me that I forgot to bring in my lemon trees. Oh well.

Sad day! Citrus trees are fun.

I totally thought this was a new thread. Didn't even phase me to see Fred in here. Or that krebscout was talking as though she lived in Provo. Ummmm…

Maybe that's because I'm so irritated that there is an inch and a half or so of heavy, wet snow outside! Heavy enough to bend some of our trees clear down to the sidewalk. What's this gonna do to my garden?! [sigh]

* Gasp! * Does Yellow know you're complaining about snow?

Yes, I fear I will have to replant tomatoes, for a second time...

I am very happy that my tomatoes are still sitting in paper cups in the house. Also, I flew in to Utah from California yesterday and the weather contrast was incredible.

Oh yes. It happens annually. And yet, he still loves me. Amazing, huh?

Resurrecting old thread once again to note that we have a blizzard warning for the first time in memory. Perfect timing for Thanksgiving break. How's the snow down yonder?

I was trying to figure out why Dragon Lady was still gardening in November.

The weather here is just awful. It's so cold. Like down into the mid 40s! Ugh!

On the bright side, if I keep my window open at night, I can actually use the big awesome comforter I bought last summer.

It snowed here last night for the first time this season. It's been snowing back home in Alberta on and off since September. And yet Nova Scotians seem to think they have the worst winters in the world.

Okay, guys, here's the plan. If everyone I know in the US makes a snowball and lobs it as hard as they can towards the southeast, at least a little bit of it ought to make it to me in Uganda. Right?
