Humor will not be tolerated!! -Portia

There are several traditions I am missing because I am 2000 miles from my family. They are as follows: matching Christmas pajamas, Christmas Eve Talent Night, Scrooge Fest, listening to The Cinnamon Bear, and watching the DVD of my grandparents reading the Christmas story aloud.

:/ Sorry about being far from your family. But! Christmas at Disney World! My family and I did that once, it was nice. I hope you still have a good day.

We all (aside from my engaged sister, who is spending Christmas at her fiance's home) slept in the same room last night. The alarm went off at 4:00, and the youngest two went to go check their stockings (we always get a bag of Christmas candy and a new ornament). The rest of us declined that tradition, but we did eventually get up at 7:00.

Now it's time for breakfast. We always have a good breakfast on Christmas Day, then we can open presents.

Last night we read about the Nativity. We used to act it out, but we outgrew it.

Those are pretty much our traditions. I like hearing what other people do!

on Christmas Eve, my mom makes us clean our rooms, "So Santa knows you have enough room for your new presents." hahahaa

My siblings and I usually all sleep in the same room. The one that does not have a clear view of the hall where we hang our stockings. We are allowed to wake up anytime after 2 to open our stockings, a remnant of when our half brother wouldn't come over until noon to open presents.

Christmas eve we have both a talent show and a re-enactment of the Christmas story.

We usually sleep in two rooms - one for the boys and one for the girls. (We don't have a room big enough for all of us.) And we have to stay downstairs, no matter how early we get up, until mom and dad say we can come up.
