Because I Say So

I am back in Provo. I was always the one pushing for parties. I hosted a few parties at my house. This must mean...

IT'S PARTY TIME!!

No whining and no excuses. I want a day chosen and I want it done now. It'll be at my house (my mom usually agrees, anyway...) and if you're at BYU or thereabouts I can give you a ride. Go!

Not this Saturday (Jan 30), but any other Saturday works. I can do Friday as well, but the whole working at 7:30 AM Saturday puts a damper on things.

Next Saturday I'm babysitting, so that's a no for me. And the 13th I'll be babysitting too. But we can't push this too far back, or it will never happen! If we start early enough on a Friday that should be okay, right, Unit?

Ohh, ohh, pick me! I want to come! Right now my schedule is oh so very open, so pick a day and I'll be there. I might drag my roommate along, too.

For sure. I have time to take a nap after work if needs be.

All right, so right now there'll be five people at this party. Anyone else want to come?

Also, how about this Friday?

I'm in! This Friday should be fine for me.

Hooray! More people!

By the way, it'd be awesome if snacks were brought. I can provide cookies and popcorn, and, if you'd like, the slushy punch, but that's about it.

I hear dzhonatan makes the best cupcakes. I'm not necessarily volunteering him, just making it known.

As for me, I dunno. My sister's coming up the next day so one of my main reasons for even being in town is kind of moot. Is that the word I want? Can reasons be moot, or is that word reserved for points?

I would like to encourage everyone to attend. Ahem.

Everyone attend!

Unfortunately, my cupcake-making skills are already reserved for Saturday night. I don't think I'm going to be in the mood for making them Friday night too. The only thing I make on a regular basis is bread, and that's just because I like eating it so much. Making the same thing twice in a row is really pretty boring.

In fact, I have no idea when the last time I made cupcakes was. I may never have made cupcakes in my entire life.

So I'll bring something other than cupcakes.

Let me know if you need more old people. Or toddlers.

If, ya know, I was actually in the same state, I would vote for TOTALLY HAVING TODDLERS at the party. Because I love them.

But I'm not, so the point is.... I feel lame saying moot because someone just said it. So I won't.

Never been to one of those things, but guess there is a first for everything. I'd come after work (which means 9ish).

Hooray! Oh, I am happy.

Please come, 42. We'll already have my five-year-old sister and my one-and-a-half year old sister, so more chaos is - no! children! More children are welcome!

We need a time for this party to start. Say four or five?

I need to know who needs a ride and where I will meet them.

If anyone needs my address, tell me, and I'll shoot you a PM.

So the 29th? I'll plan on it, and will need a ride. However, my former roommate might have something going on so if that comes through I'm going to that. But at this point I'm totally at bob's party.

By the way, we do have two cats, who usually have full run of the house.

Out of curiosity, are you home bob? (As in "home from Florida", not "home from school".)

Yep. I said that in the firs post. : ) Have been since the sixth.

Ok, so the other plan I had fell through, so I'm definitely coming. I don't get off work until four, so I won't be home for anyone to pick me up until 4:30, but after that I'm free all evening.

So I can totally get a ride to bobs house, but I might need a ride home. Anyone willing to take me back to Orem?
