Residing in East Africa? Sounds cool!

Welcome, Silas and Emiliana. Nice to have you join. Silas, I have no idea who you are, but you and Emiliana sound interesting. I hope to see many contributions from the two of you.

speaking of Africa... do you have curry where you are? I've had south African curry and it's delicious.

Whistler: We have some pretty amazing Indian restaurants, but other local food doesn't have curry ... Sad.

I'm Puckish Fiend, or just Puck for short. I am a fairy, but I'm not gay, which is an easy mistake to make. For those of you wondering, I am happily married to a member of the opposite sex. I've been reading the board and the board board for two years, and I figured I would finally register to give my two cents.

I am a BYU student in a science field, though I contemplated a degree in law. I enjoy pointing out logical and factual errors in peoples arguments, and making fun of the self-righteous and hypocritical. That's all for now I think.

Well hello, Puck. (Resign yourself to all sorts of nicknames. They will happen.) We're excited to hear from you! Or at least I am.

Hello! I'm melbabi. I have been reading theboard for about five years but I just found out about this forum via The Black Sheep, whom I have recently become friends with. I graduated from BYU and am currently getting my MSW at the U. Don't worry though, I still root for BYU... :)

This must be the case with me as well, because your 'nym feels really familiar.

Anyway, welcome!

Hi melbabi! Black Sheep tells me that we are in the same profession, so we should probably be friends.

I'm Defy V. I defy . . . V. Even though I've never seen it. Or most any TV shows. I enjoy reading people's blogs, sleeping, and washing my hair, among other things. I've been reading the Board for almost a year and a half and have been following the Board Board for a little while as well. I usually skim (or skip) the long responses in both. Makes for terrible reading comprehension.

Oh, and when I signed up the terms of use told me I was joining the "I'm so Prolific - C is for" website. So I expect C is for to be prolific.

Hello, V! Or would you prefer Defy? You'll be lucky if you get a full name out of me. I really really like nicknames.

C4 is pretty prolific, though she still has quite a ways to go to before she catches up with me. Of course, I have been here longer.

(Don't tell anyone, but I also skim/skip all the long responses...)
